But don’t we need sweat glands?

Of course but not under your arms! You are born with approximately 2 million sweat glands and only 2 percent of these are located under your arms. With miraDry, you can enjoy the benefits of dry underarms while your body continues to perspire normally elsewhere!

What is the treatment like?

You will be in a reclined position for about an hour while the procedure is performed. You are unlikely to feel discomfort during the treatment because your underarms will be topically numbed prior to this by one of our licensed nurses. Then your esthetician will gently glide the miraDry handle across your underarms. Afterwards, you may experience soreness, swelling, numbness and tingling in the treated areas. This typically resides within 2 days to 2 weeks.

How many treatments will I need?

One treatment is sufficient for most people, but we recommend a second treatment for optimal results 90 days after the first treatment. Your caregiver will determine the best treatment plan for your desired results!

How soon will I experience results?
